O.C.C. Liptar Review feat. Anime and Marion

The fun continues with OCC liptars. I played around with more colors this weekend and came across a very wearable blend. I mixed together the neon bright pink Anime with my organey brown neutral Marion and got a lovely  toned down pink that resembles magenta.

I would just call it bright pink but fushia is much more accurate correct term as it isn't quite pink as Nylon ("classic bubble gum pink with a neon twist") but it definitely is brighter than Pretty Boy which is described as "super-rich fushia".

Marion, is in all except one blend that I've experimented with so far and it is the perfect nude tone with a hint of orange. It goes very well with other red or pink-toned colors. Every blend has so far resulted in very wearable shades.

I prepped my lips by applying Nivea essential lip stick (any type of lip balm will do) and then lined and filled in my lips with Make Up Forever Aqua Lip in 1C light neutral beige. The reason I use a lip liner is to prevent feathering of the lip stick and so that the colors would last longer. I then applied Anime with a lip brush evenly on my lips and added two generous strokes of Marion on top, got rid of the excess on a tissue and evened out with my brush until the colors were seamlessly blended. The result is a nice bright magenta shade that's very wearable for day and evening occassions.

I really like how Anime x Marion turned out. You can definitely control the tone of the blend by how much Marion to apply ontop of Anime. For a different blend you can try first applying Marion on your lips and then add Anime ontop until you're happy with how much red is in the blend.
